Payment and delivery
Payment methods
Paypal, Visa or Master Card are the payment methods accepted on the online store.
Acceptance of terms and conditions
As soon as a customer places an order, they are deemed to have read and accepted the sales conditions mentioned.
Product availability
Please note that the jewelry offered for sale is generally available in-store. However, if a piece of jewelry is not immediately available, a delay may apply (production time, order, etc.). The customer will then be informed of the possible delay.
Some jewelry is offered in limited quantities, and prices may be changed without notice.
Orders
By confirming their order, the customer demonstrates their commitment and acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale and automatically accepts these terms.
The order is then registered, and an order number is provided. An on-screen and email confirmation will also follow.
The data is recorded as proof of the type of order, its content, and the exact time it was placed.
No order cancellation is possible without the agreement of Bijouterie Jean-Claude Gagnon.
*We reserve the right to cancel any order in case of a display error in prices or other details.
Any shipping costs incurred to return the jewelry, if applicable, will be at your expense.
Bijouterie Jean-Claude Gagnon reserves the right not to accept returned items, if applicable, if the product packaging has been opened or if the products have been damaged.
Please consult our refund policies in the Warranty and Refund Policy section.
Delivery
Delivery will be made by Canada Post to the address entered by the customer during their order. A signature will be required upon receipt of the package to confirm receipt of your order.
Each order must first be validated by the customer, and full payment must be made for the delivery process to begin. A payment agreement will then have been previously issued by the banking payment centers concerned. In the event of a refusal from said centers, the order will be canceled.
Please also note that Bijouterie Jean-Claude Gagnon reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer with an ongoing dispute.
Delivery costs are calculated based on the customer's place of residence.
In the event of the customer's absence during delivery, the carrier will leave a notice for package collection at a Canada Post office.
Under no circumstances can delivery delays due to stock shortages give rise to compensation or damages.
In the event of particular events (strikes, lockouts, etc.) delaying or preventing the delivery of ordered products, Bijouterie Jean-Claude Gagnon is not held responsible for any delay or non-delivery, or non-compliance with delivery times announced by the carrier itself.
No compensation is possible.
Prices
The prices offered for each product intended for sale are indicated in the selected currency, excluding applicable taxes, and do not include shipping costs.
The price indicated at the order confirmation constitutes the final price, including taxes, handling fees, packaging and storage costs, and shipping costs.
Claim
By signing the delivery slip, the customer accepts the delivered products in good condition. No claims relating to damages sustained during transport will then be accepted. It is the customer's responsibility to check the package upon arrival.
In case of damage, missing product, or product received in poor condition, it is the customer's responsibility to specify their reservations on the delivery slip and to confirm them no later than 24 hours following delivery, either by phone or email to Bijouterie Jean-Claude Gagnon.
Please note that any return of goods must first be authorized by Bijouterie Jean-Claude Gagnon.
Please note that any jewelry that has been modified (e.g., size) is non-refundable. The return of goods is at the customer's expense and risk.
Invoicing
A detailed invoice will be sent to the customer in their package, including details of the applied taxes.
Loss or theft of package
In the event of loss or theft of a package resulting from a problem with the carrier, it is the customer's responsibility to inform Bijouterie Jean-Claude Gagnon as soon as possible (maximum 3 weeks). An investigation will then be opened with the carrier. If the loss proves real, following the result of said investigation, Bijouterie Jean-Claude Gagnon will re-ship the product, if available, or proceed with a refund for the lost/stolen product; subject to compensation from the carrier.
